Gerrit Hatcher (B. 1991, Boston, MA) is a Chicago-based saxophonist. Hatcher founded his imprint Kettle Hole Records in 2019; in addition to his releases there, he has released work on Aerophonic Records, Amalgam Music, JAKI Records, Astral Spirits, No Index and The Bridge Sessions. Hatcher has performed at The Renaissance Society (Chicago), The Hammer Museum (Los Angeles) Unda.m. 93 (Chicago), The Logan Center for the Arts (Chicago), Studio Grez (Brussels), Paviljoen Ongehoorde Muziek (Eindhoven), La Dynamo (Pantin), Downtown Music Gallery (New York), iBeam (New York), Constellation (Chicago), and Experimental Sound Studio (Chicago), amongst other venues.
